Crop and Soil Sciences offers Honours’ Degree in Crop Science, Bachelor of Agriculture (Crop Science). The duration of the degree program is five years of ten semesters. About the College

The College of Agricultural Sciences is one of the pioneer Colleges since March 21, 2011 when LMU was established.  The College has had a number of Deans namely, Prof. E.O Oyawoye (2011 – 2014), Prof. G.O Agbaje (2014 – 2016), Prof. C.O Aremu (2016 – 2018) and Prof. O.M Bamiro (2018 till date). The College has four Departments namely; Agricultural Economics/Extension and Rural Development, Animal Science/Aquaculture and Soil Science and Food Science and Nutrition.

Dr Elizabeth Temitope Alori is a Senior Lecturer and Head of Department, Crop and Soil Sciences. She is a registered soil scientist (Soil Microbiology). She obtained her Ph.D from University of Ilorin in year 2011. She secured a postdoctoral fellowship award of Northwest University, Mafikeng Campus, South Africa in 2015. Dr. Alori has published research articles in both national and international scholarly journals, of which many are indexed in scopus.
